<p>We held the young adults my hope, Singapore event and we had a lovely time together. We brought two young adult groups together for the Christmas party. We sang Christmas carols, played some get to know you games, had great food and fellowship, watched a video of Neville Tan&#8217;s dramatic transformation from <a onclick="ps_imagemanager_popup(this.href,'christmas tree and gifts exchange','400','300');return false" href="http://www.blogpastor.net/wp-content/uploads/2008/ya_cell___chinatown006_edited_1.jpg" onfocus="this.blur()"><img class="pics" title="christmas tree and gifts exchange" src="http://www.blogpastor.net/wp-content/uploads/2008/.thumbs/.ya_cell___chinatown006_edited_1.jpg" border="0" alt="christmas tree and gifts exchange" width="128" height="96" align="right" /></a>notorious gangster to preacher, and shared and prayed in groups. Two guests came and the evangelistic thrust wasn&#8217;t strong but the young people enjoyed themselves so much they couldn&#8217;t bear to leave.</p>
<p>Thank God that the gracious Christians from Trinity Christian Centre who were using the place in the afternoon, on our request, consented to leave the Christmas decor they <a onclick="ps_imagemanager_popup(this.href,'food glorious food','400','300');return false" href="http://www.blogpastor.net/wp-content/uploads/2008/ya_cell___chinatown004_edited_1.jpg" onfocus="this.blur()"><img class="pics" title="food glorious food" src="http://www.blogpastor.net/wp-content/uploads/2008/.thumbs/.ya_cell___chinatown004_edited_1.jpg" border="0" alt="food glorious food" width="128" height="96" align="left" /></a>had set up for us to use in our event. We took them down and passed it to them that very night.</p>
<p>We weren&#8217;t supposed to use the multi-purpose hall either, but somebody gave it up at the last moment, and we immediately booked it!</p>
<p>I read that more than 22,000 such parties were hosted by Singapore churches and the response though not yet officially tallied looked pretty good from informal reports.</p>
