World Revival Prayer Fellowship is grateful for the pro bono work of EPIGRAM PTE LTD for the design work they have done. They designed our new logo and creative applications to church stationery like letterhead, envelopes, offering envelopes, notepads, church signage, church bulletin and stuff like T-shirts, caps etc.

Our former logo was from a church contest we conducted two decades ago. It served its purpose for that time. We have felt a need to change the logo but cost was a barrier. A providential meeting with Edmund Wee, the neighbour of the senior pastor’s wife led to a generous and gracious offer to do the design for wrpf. Edmund Wee is the founder and owner of this company which has won many prestigious design awards, both local and overseas. The company has many big clients of statutory boards and mult-national companies. He himself was awarded the President’s Design Award 2008.

We sent all our former office stationery and the history, vision and strategy of our church and prayed and waited for Epigram to return with the design. When it came we were blown away with the creative use of the number 8 which was significant in our church’s origins as well as the biblical symbolic meaning of 8 as new beginnings, new life and resurrection. The doves in a flight of 8 placed diagonally to give it depth is a unique design that you will not find in any other church logo. Dove symbolizes the Holy Spirit and this church was birthed in revival. We were all thrilled and pleased with the design.

Richard, the guy who handled our “account”, was very patient and thorough, and serviced us well, even coming to the church premises twice to view the premises where the signage were to be placed. All this despite the case being done free of charge. The stationery and bulletin and others have been done. We are working on the church signage now.

We felt blessed! And we are grateful. May the Lord bless Edmund Wee and his company!

As our leaders deliberate on how our church can become more effective and efficient, the following are two of my personal observations of the universal as well as local Church, WRPF.

When God created Man in His image, He created in Man, a capacity to choose. The outcome of Adam’s and Eve’s wrong choices made the world as we know it today – a world that falls short of the glory of God; a glory He had intended His children to be bestowed with.

God’s creation of His Church is a similar but greater experiment to His creation of Man. In this, God made Himself inseparable and indivisible from, vulnerable with, and interdependent on that which He created – The Church, with Jesus Christ as the Head of the Body.

The Church is made up of a community of believers including past, present and future. The bible describes us as the members of Christ’s Body. No wonder then, when Saul persecuted the early Church, it was revealed to him that he was really hurting Jesus. Likewise, when we commit adultery, we inevitably commit our Lord in an unholy union (1Cor 6). God has given Himself wholly and unreservedly to His Church, being part of her welfare as well as advancement.

God’s redemptive work through His Son, Jesus Christ, is His second chance at making Man what He had originally intended. The Church is the embodiment of such a bold “experiment” of God tagging Himself completely to His creation.

My second observation – if we can realise and accept that the Church has a special place in God’s heart, we WILL rise up to be what He has destined us to be – His glorious Church with His divine DNA written into our system. In the Church, God is staking His entire credibility.

His aid for us is the residing of Holy Spirit within. A privilege experienced by the OT saints, prophets, kings, judges and priests. The Bible tells us that God has given us EVERYTHING we need to fulfill His will in the world. We should be the happiest, most purposeful and empowered people on planet Earth.

WRPF is His Church and HE IS WRPF’S SPIRIT AND STRENGTH. Our passion, efforts and commitment SHOULD stem from His strength as we watch the Church unite and grow from strength to strength. The Bible tells us that the universe anxiously awaits the glorious revelation of God’s sons and daughters.

So while His spirit works within us,
We watch as the world watches,
And wait as the world waits,
For the glorious revelation of His Church,
World Revival Prayer Fellowship.
