PROCEDURE FOR CHURCH MEMBERSHIP
Every year the church will organize at least one Baptism & Membership Course. Attending this course is one of the major criteria for registered church membership. At the end of the course a Membership Form will have to be filled up by the candidate. On approval of the Board of Elders, the applicant will then be added to the church membership roll and introduced to the church body.
Children under 12 years who were baptized in our church while in the children’s church, will have to later in their secondary school years, attend the relevant lesson in the Baptism & Membership Course, which is the “Introducing the WRPF Family”, as this was not part of the lessons taught in the simplified children’s version of the Baptism Class for the children’s church.
Those from other churches who wish to become registered members of WRPF will have to attend the relevant lesson in the Baptism & Membership Course, which is the “Introducing the WRPF Family”. Transfer applicants from other churches who were baptized differently from our practice will be considered case by case, and may have to make a commitment to support the practice of the church with regards to baptism.
CRITERIA FOR CHURCH MEMBERSHIP
