PURPOSE

To establish the guidelines with regard to who in church is entitled to claim for Mission Trip Subsidy(ies)

SCOPE

It covers Mission Trip subsidy guidelines for:

  1. Senior Pastor and Mission Pastor
  2. Pastoral Staff
  3. Registered Member(s)

PRE-REQUISITES

  1. Applicant(s) must be a registered member of World Revival Prayer Fellowship.
  2. Applicant(s) must attend Sunday Worship Service in World Revival Prayer Fellowship regularly.
  3. Applicant(s) must attend Cell Group Meeting regularly.

ENTITLEMENT

  1. Senior Pastor is entitled to one mission trip per budget year together with Mission Pastor where expenses of up to a maximum of SGD 1,500 will be covered by the church.
  2. Mission Pastor is entitled to make more than one mission trips per budget year (for purpose of pastoral visits for church missionaries and other missions related) as required, where budgeted expenses will be covered by the church, unless otherwise stated after consultation with the BOE.
  3. Pastoral Staff  is entitled to make one or more mission trips per budget year where expenses of up to a maximum of SGD 1,500 per trip will be covered by the church on the condition that neither Senior Pastor nor Mission Pastor is travelling along the same trip.
  4. The claim amount will be subjected to final approval by Mission Pastor.
  5. Should there be more than one Full-Time Pastor Staff travelling along the same mission trip, only one Staff will be entitled to claim a subsidy up to the maximum of SGD 500 per trip similar to Registered Member(s) Entitlement.
  6. If a general consensus cannot be decided among them as to the amount of subsidy, Mission Pastor is given the authority to decide on their behalf.
  7. If Senior Pastor or Mission Pastor is travelling along the same mission trip, he or she will be given the prerogative to claim a maximum of SGD 1500 per trip whereas any accompanying Pastoral Staff will only be entitled to claim a subsidy up to the maximum of SGD 500 per trip similar to Registered Member(s) Entitlement.
  8. Registered Member(s) is/are entitled to claim a subsidy up to the maximum of SGD 500 for a mission trip subject to final approval by Mission Pastor.
  9. Should there by any situations arising which happens to be outside of the stipulated purposes, scope, pre-requisite and entitlement, Mission Pastor will be responsible to bring the matter up with the BOE for consultation and decision making before approving it.
