It had been several weeks of exciting training and experiential learning for all the cell groups that were gathered together at ACTS Lifestyle every Friday for retooling. The purpose was to equip everyone to be disciple-making communities. The early sessions were mainly about self-discovery: different temperaments; the love languages; multiple-intelligences; and gender differences. The cells learn about one another in greater depth so that we can better relate to one another. At the same time people discover more about themselves, which is a bonus. Pastor Chua Seng Lee used his broad training experiences to equip the church for making disciples of the wrpf qualities.
Anticipation and fun was part of everything. It was not boring because there was less monologue and more surveys, workshops, moving about, games with learning objectives, and group discussions. Time just sped, and like shark fin soup served in a tiny bowl, people came the next week with an appetite for more. The young trainees of the STAR training program were given assignments to do and they were excellent and confident in leading the games and manning the multiple intelligences booth.
