Perhaps this is a reminder to us that our sufferings here are indeed minor compared to the intense persecution and cold cruelty faced by the apostles and the disciples during their times for the sake of the Faith.
“And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake”- Jesus.













Why would 12 men of very sound mind walk so bravely to their deaths?
How did the christians at that time benefit from their deaths?
Will present day christians benefit if they witness such martyrdom?
As today gospel said : Lk 9 : 22-25
