Due to expansion we are looking for a church administrator:
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Senior Pastor, the Church Administrator is responsible for the on-site daily administration of the Church’s operations, human resources management, financial management, facilities management and other administrative roles.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily administrative functions of the Church
- Review, develop and make improvements to church administrative policies.
- Oversee the financial system, preparation of budgets, monthly financial reports & payroll, maintenance of proper cash flow controls as well as responsible for purchasing processes
- Develop and administer HR policies and procedures, maintain personnel records, recruitment of staff, administration of employment /cessation of employment contracts, periodic reviews of HR policies and procedures
- Direct the Church’s maintenance program, develop and administer policies and procedures concerning the use of church properties and facilities; works with staff and volunteers in coordinating the utilisation of church facilities
- Ensure Code of Governance compliance.
- Responsible for the proper communication with congregation on all matters and timely publication of collaterals, bulletins etc.
- Attend and participate in all staff meetings and leadership training sessions
Job Requirements:
Qualification: Possess a diploma or degree in business administration or any relevant
diploma or degree
Skills/Qualities:
- With at least 2 years experience in administration including human resources and financial management.
- Able to work independently and has strong organizational skills
- Able to plan, prioritise and manage multiple tasks
- Abe to work under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Possess effective oral and written communication abilities
- Good computer knowledge and skills
