“My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”

(Exodus 33:14)

PRAY….as an individual, in your cell and prayer groups……

*for pastors and elders to unitedly lead the church through the many changes needed in the coming year; for discernment and courage to qtmake changes; and grace to accept them.

* for cell groups to be refreshed in the Holy Spirit, and relationships to enter  a deeper level of honesty and trust and love.

*for a Project Grace team and  chairman, which we have been trying to put together without success so far.

*for Agnes Chua, as she takes on her new ministry function as  cluster leader of the 4 young adult cell groups. She needs to be full of the Spirit, wisdom and grace (Acts 6).

*for Jude, who is preparing to enter the Discipleship Training School (DTS) of Youth With A  Mission(YWAM), a missions organization. The training will have an impartation, and then, an outreach phase.

*for a capable church administrator to be added to the church team.

* for the GNK core group, and Salome Wong as she takes a break to refresh herself and look around in other churches until April,  for lessons that can be applied to GNK ‘s current program.

* for our working members as they trust God through what the government had warned would be the worst economic downturn Singapore has ever  faced. Pray they will have  the peace and strength of God in the midst of this crisis.

* for the couples who have signed up for the Alpha Marriage Course, that the Lord would use the videos and workbook discussions to enrich their relationships, and that those who do not know Christ will see Him.

*for the nomination and election of new elders that the Lord will give wisdom and grace to the church in its choices. The AGM will be in April 2009.

*for our missionaries and their families and ministry.

*for all foreign workers and residents in Singapore to be treated with dignity, respect and kindness. For our churches, including ours, to be gracious and hospitable to all.

* for all our worship services in February to experience the great presence and love of God in a dynamic and real way;  for the preaching, singing, praying to stir up, freshen and renew our first love for the Lord.
